Glacier National Park

We arrived at Glacier NP on the 19th. Stopped in Kalispell for lunch and then stayed at the West Glacier KOA for the night. We connected with Keith and Jeremy Hurt later the next day.
Stops in Glacier NP included Bowman Lake, Lake McDonald, Logan Pass, Highline Trail, St. Mary Lake, Rising Sun, Many Glacier, Swiftcurrent Lake, Grinnel Glacier, Two Medicine Lake and the Cut Bank Trailhead and Atlantic Creek Campground.

Highline Trail and Logan Pass
Beautiful hike from Logan Pass up the Highline Trail. Lost my GPS which was a bit of a bummer and a distraction. Not much smoke early but it got worse as the day went on. Watched the eclipse from near the pass.

Many Glacier area. Grinnell Glacier hike and paddling on Swiftcurrent Lake
Great hike to the glacier but we went for a down day after a going to Grinnell Glacier and just paddled on Swiftcurrent Lake, then drove down to Two Medicine and checked out the scenery. Stayed at the Rising Sun before heading to the woods at Cut Bank.

Cut Bank Trailhead and backpacking to Atlantic Creek campsite.
It rained on us the first day and we abandoned our plan to hike Triple Divide Peak. Beautiful hike on the way out. Plenty of bear sign and a first - cows on the trail.
